We welcome Mitesh to the CapaFamily

New apprentice

Another apprentice has joined CapaSystems and has been paired with a former apprentice as a mentor.

17-year-old Mitesh Oliver Sahijpal is the newest member of the CapaFamily. Over the next 4.5 years, Mitesh will be an apprentice at CapaSystems, balancing his studies with hands-on experience at our headquarters in Taastrup to complete his education as an IT technician specializing in infrastructure. Commuting from Kastrup to Taastrup, Mitesh will initially work with our Test and Support Team, learning about CapaSystems’ products and solutions by getting hands-on experience and testing for bugs.

– “I completed my apprenticeship at CapaSystems and started as a full-time Technical Support Engineer last Monday. Besides gaining fantastic colleagues, I have obtained technical insight into how a team collaborates to achieve a successful release. I have had ample opportunities to develop through the tasks given to me and have grown significantly. Therefore, I am excited to mentor Mitesh and support him during his apprenticeship,” explains Mikkel Knop, CapaSystems.

CapaSystems is not just a Danish company developing software solutions; we pride ourselves on taking solid social responsibility rooted in Danish heritage and values. We are a team with diverse backgrounds in terms of gender, ethnicity, and professional expertise, and we find it essential to undertake the task of having apprentices and interns, thus helping young people on their way to achieving their dreams.

Bridging Education and the Labor Market

– “We believe that taking in apprentices is not just about educating the workforce of the future but also about creating a meaningful connection between businesses and the surrounding community. Through our apprenticeship programs, young people gain practical skills necessary for today’s job market while also understanding what it means to work in a modern tech company,” explains CSO Dennis Busk Nyehuus, who oversees CapaSystems’ newest apprentice. He continues:

– “By offering a mix of schooling and practical experience, we ensure our apprentices are well-educated and ready to face the challenges. Many of our former apprentices have subsequently taken on important roles within the company, and we see this as an investment in both the individual’s and the company’s future. Mitesh is, therefore, one of our three apprentices, all of whom are crucial members of the CapaSystems Team.”

We welcome Mitesh and look forward to following his development and contributions to our shared success.
